Lucas Perez wages

Seen it widely reported that Lucas Perez is earning £80k a week. But when he signed for Arsenal it was widely reported that he was earning £40k a week at the Emirates.
Can someone help clear this up?
Because I can't sleep at night thinking he might be earning Carroll-sized wages with us.

The rumour in the Summer was £100k. Maybe it's £80k with sizeable extras for appearances etc?
I'd be very surprised if a striker was on £40k at Arsenal. Spotrac had him at 70k basic at Arsenal, which might make sense that we gave him a small rise to make the move.

I also think no striker is going to move to WHU and not ask for parity with at least Carroll.
For FFP it seems this is all disastrous of course. How are the club going to sort it out?

70-80k is what I have always heard, which is what he wa son at Arsenal and why we got him so seemingly "cheap"

Lets say is 50k a week
That's 2.6 million a year
Lets say half goes to the tax man
So. Its a take home of around 1.3 million a year.
Seems worth it

Add that to Wilshire's and Carroll's and its an absolute disgusting waste of money.
Our recruitment of dogshit of injury prone clowns has blighted the club for fucking years.
It needs sorting out once and for all.

Lucas had a good season with his hometown club Deportivo about 4 seasons ago when he scored 18 Goals.
The truth is that before that he was no more than an average journeyman who had never made much of a mark up until the age of 26.
He is not worth the wages but good luck to him if the Premiership is willing to pay average La Liga players like him that sort of wedge. What would anybody here do in his position?

I think he was on 50k (euros) back on loan at Deportivo last season which was pretty high for them

A squad filler that's being used more now due to our crippling injuries. I'd imagine his goals to game ratio is probably pretty good.

I was quite pleased when he signed and thought he would be good. I was wrong.
Hes still hot though.
